Pervasive PSQL Summit™ v10 is design to provide support, and certification with Windows Server® 2008 with our Pervasive PSQL v10.10 beta (available now). Pervasive collaborated with Microsoft as a member of the Early Access Program (EAP) to ensure the highest compatibility, reliability, and performance with this next generation product. Users are encouraged to download the latest beta to perform internal and controlled testing with Windows Server 2008.
The 64-bit edition of Pervasive PSQL v10.10 for Windows Server is Microsoft-tested, approved and certified for Windows Server 2008. The 32-bit editions of Pervasive PSQL v10.10 for Windows will also work seamlessly with 32-bit editions of Windows Server 2008. With PSQL v10 our new 64-bit support will allow users to maximize their next hardware and server investment around 64-bit technology and Windows Server 2008.
Since Pervasive PSQL v9 does not meet the requirements as defined by Microsoft for testing, we will not be certifying or offering compatibility with Windows Server 2008. We encourage existing PSQL v9 customers to evaluate Pervasive PSQL Summit v10 moving forward.
