Pervasive PSQL Summit v10 Workgroup
Full-Featured Database Power
The Pervasive PSQL v10 Workgroup Edition delivers full-featured, high-performance database power at the desktop, on the road, or in your workgroup. The Workgroup Edition is designed to deliver multi-user client/server performance, dependability, reliability, and data integrity in environments with no network server, or where practical reasons dictate an alternative to server-based database engines.
Based on PSQL Server architecture, the Workgroup delivers centralized multi-user concurrency and locking management to data access regardless of where the database resides in your business. These robust features are delivered via a file management scheme that controls and directs all database access through a single point, much like traditional client/server technology.
By providing all the features and benefits of the Pervasive high-performance, low-maintenance client/server database technology, the Workgroup prevents the need to compromise on quality or performance when choosing a solution to support your application.
Workgroup and Server Application Compatibility
With application compatibility between Workgroup and Server editions, Pervasive PSQL lets you scale your deployments from a single user to client/server without application modifications or data file manipulation. This reduces costs and saves time by allowing the same application to run in several environments. Of course, the Workgroup engine still provides full compatibility with all existing Btrieve-based applications on supported platforms. As a result, you can take advantage of the features and increased speed that Pervasive PSQL v10 offers without changing your application.
Workgroup is available in single user, three or five concurrent user configurations. With Pervasive PSQL v10 Workgroup, you can share data across the business without compromising on performance, dependability, reliability or data integrity.
