Job Description:
- Maintain existing applications written in C#, ASP.Net, SOAP, JAVA
- Develop and maintain new applications to satisfy internal business needs
- Create documentation for new and existing applications
- Work in a team environment under general supervision
- Work with the Web site team and other marketing contributors on site design and implementation leveraging design templates, content sources and other resources
- Gather application requirements from stakeholders throughout the organization
- Maintain, update and troubleshoot systems and solutions that leverage third party software in conjunction with various corporate applications
Required Experience and Education:
- BS in Computer Science, information systems or a related technology area
- 4+ years of professional related experience in building and implementing applications
- Expertise with databases, spreadsheet applications, and report writers utilized by the company; expertise in use of the assigned department’s primary information systems
- Working knowledge of backroom processes and languages including but not limited to C3, ASP.Net, SOAP, Java, JSP, SQL, AJAX, and HTML.
- Ability to accurately assess application requirements and implement those requirements into new and existing corporate applications; ability to summarize information verbally and in writing when required
- Ability to troubleshoot application systems problems; explaining issues to Technology staff and vendors; ability to test and document application changes
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of staff and vendors
- Ability to train and assist other staff in the use of the department’s primary application systems.
