Job Description: Pervasive Softwareâs Integration Products Division takes the agony out of data integration. We enable our customers to quickly and easily move and share data between multiple databases, applications and hosted systems. Our technology delivers speed to market, top line revenue growth and increased profitability to corporations, software vendors and systems integrators.
Pervasive is seeking experienced technology sales professionals to develop net new business and to expand its footprint within a massive installed base of existing customers. This position will focus on selling data integration and data compliance software that is used for data warehouses, e-commerce, and enterprise application integration primarily to Corporate End-Users and Systems Integrators.
Responsibilities:
- Work with new and existing customers in all industries - special focus on Business Services Providers (such as Marketing Services), Telecommunications and Supply Chain Management.
- Identify prospective customers' needs and develop innovative solutions to satisfy their requirements. Penetrate organizations at the highest possible C level executive.
- Demonstrate and leverage a thorough knowledge of the information management space and the geographic area of assignment.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling and specific marketing campaigns.
- Operate effectively in a team selling environment, coordinating resources with multiple departments, including Systems Engineering, Professional Services and Marketing
- Utilize the companyâs customer relationship management (CRM) system and provide accurate forecasts to management on a weekly and quarterly basis for assigned area.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years experience selling complex technology to senior corporate executives with a proven track record at achieving/exceeding assigned sales quotas. Demonstration of major account success in a direct and channel sales model.
- Self-motivated to expand personal professional knowledge of product and selling skills.
- Professional with excellent organizational, planning, communications, and problem solving skills.
- High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment; including the ability to work in a high pressure, fast moving, and challenging environment
- Commitment to achieve goals, both personal and business related
- 4 year college degree (or higher) in Business, Computer Science or Industrial Distribution
10-30% Travel required
