The Marketing Programs Specialist develops and executes marketing programs (including DM campaigns, channel tactics and events execution) that generate quality leads that convert to sales opportunities from both new targets and existing customers.
The best-fit candidates will:
- Have experience creating and executing effective, successful lead generation efforts for B2B software firms -- doing so across all media, including permissioned email tactics and events.
- Happily prove themselves detail-oriented -- almost pathologically so.
- Be collaborative, supportive team players ready to pitch in and help no matter what's needed.
- Create and nurture great internal and external vendor relationships through clear, positive communication and partnership.
- Make sure the team succeeds, by aligning their campaigns with company strategy and target our audience's pains/needs.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in direct marketing for B2B software and/or channels, with a special focus on complete campaign execution of permissioned e-mail marketing, customer data enrichment, and prospecting/list management.
- Undergraduate degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Consistent success developing and managing effective lead generation programs, and developing collateral that supports lead generation activity.
- Consistent success working directly with and coordinating database, sales, and creative activity for lead generation campaigns.
Preferred Background:
- 5+ years experience in direct marketing per the above, with special focus on marketing to B2B channels and partners.
- Familiarity with applications integration software and/or services.
- Professional coursework in Marketing, Direct Marketing, and Channel Marketing.
- Undergraduate degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or Journalism.
- Proven success in team development and management, writing for B2B software lead generation, familiarity with broadcast tools and Web tools that support direct marketing.
