General Summary: Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity, responsible for firewalls, network devices and security.
Requirements: May require a bachelorâs degree in a related area and 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Supports Windows, Linux/Unix and Netware environments and administration. Responsible for Network and server infrastructure of the Engineering lab. Extensive knowledge of DNS, WINS, DHCP and other networking services including TCP/IP, multi-platform database installation and configuration, as well as shell and or perl scripting. Responds to trouble calls consisting of hardware repair and/or software configuration. Assists in maintaining 3rd party software licenses. Provides training and documentation to end users.

- Various CRM applications (MS CRM, Saleslogix)

- VM Ware
