Pervasive Software's Integration Products Division takes the agony out of data integration.  We enable our customers to quickly and easily move and share data between multiple databases, applications and hosted systems.  Our technology delivers speed to market, top line revenue growth and increased profitability to corporations, software vendors and systems integrators. 

Pervasive is seeking experienced technology sales professionals to develop net new business and to expand its footprint within a large installed base of existing customers.  This position will focus on selling data integration software that is used for data warehouses, e-commerce, and enterprise application integration primarily to Corporate End-Users and Systems Integrators.  Occasional overnight travel required. 

A successful Account Executive must be enthusiastic; provide proven sales expertise combined with knowledge of the information management space; thrive in a team environment; demonstrate past success in prospecting and generating leads; quickly understand rapidly changing technology; and be able to sell at both a technical and executive level.

Required Experience and Education:

Five years experience selling complex technology to senior corporate executives with a proven track record at achieving/exceeding assigned sales quotas.

  • Self-motivated to expand professional knowledge of products and selling skills. 
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communications and problem solving skills.
  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment; including the ability to work in a fast moving and challenging environment
  • 4 year college degree (or higher) in Business, Computer Science or Industrial Distribution

 Preferred Experience and Education:

  • Major Account management experience in  a direct or channel sales model
  • Integration Software experience
  • Experience conducting sales by utilizing a CRM system and standard sales methodology
